…our why.

Orbit and I have spent the past year volunteering in the mental health ward, witnessing firsthand how it truly takes a community to make a difference. My news feed is constantly filled with stories about the mental health crisis and homelessness epidemic. I know that buying feminine hygiene products or donating food won’t solve the entire issue, but I believe small actions matter. When enough small actions come together, they can create something incredible. During COVID, I began growing plants as a way to cope with losing control of my mental and physical health. Gardening brought me peace, recentred me, and reminded me of the power of nurturing something living. This page is dedicated to “plants with purpose”—using the healing power of gardening to raise funds and awareness for our community.
